Spinach Jade and Black Beads

This fifteen and one-half inches necklace was inspired by the beauty of Art Deco jewelry which often used this color combination: Black and Green. The contrast of the spinach green of the Jade and the matte and faceted finish of the black beads is striking. The focal point the lotus flower was carved by the Yang family. The variety of black glass beads are from the 1940's and were made in Bavaria. The toggle clasp is pewter.
