Fun with African Beads Necklace

This colorful necklace is designed using early 20th Century Venetian glass trade beads found in Mali. These beads were traded with the African people for supplies. The necklace includes mellow yellow tube beads, bright green tube beads, and six multi-colored swirl glass beads. To finish the earthy look, I used tiny tiger jasper chip beads. The clasp is a gold metal s-hook. The total length is seventeen and one-half inches.
